Its friday. 4am. so it's barely Friday, and I went to sleep at 1. however, I still have to get ready to catch a flight. I throw on some J. Crew cropped denim, my Top Knot Vintage turtleneck tank, my Gucci espedrilles and I did my makeup (surprisingly decently considering the hour). Ceci and I jumped in her car, drove to the airport and we were off: to fashion week in NYC. The street style, the shows, the events, the goodies; it was all there and waiting for us to take by storm.  After a starbucks trip and an hour and a half flight (more like nap) we made it. Well, sort of. We had a MESS of an uber ride but once we got to the hotel, we dropped our bags and hit the town.

First stop, the TRESemme runway studio to get our hair done. Ceci's was perfect; however, mine was too curly for my preference (the thought was that it'll be perfect tomorrow). Next was to get food at Two Hands. Literally everything looked good, and everything was good. HIGHLY recommend. We then hit 5th once my mom got into town, and this is where the fun truly began. First we went to YSL, then Chanel and then Gucci (heaven on earth). Once walking in Gucci, we saw the man himself: James Corden. I proceeded to calmly say to him "Hi, I love you just thought you should know." and with all the wit in his being, he replied with, "I love you too; I do think we should see other people." and my day was made. We then returned back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner at Jean-Georges. This was by far one of the best meals I have ever had. I had a spicy rigatoni with veal meatballs. Ceci had a crab salad and my mom had a burger with a russian sauce and other (of course) fancy toppings. THEN DESSERT. A Brown Butter Carrot Cake with Coconut Sorbet, and Peach Pie with Raspberry Sorbet. These flavors. Wow. After this life-changing meal, it was onto the MET. Unfortunately, the Manus x Machina Exhibit closes a few days ago, but if you would like to see photos from it, check out my last NYC blog! I purchased a book from the gift shop, In The Name of Gucci: A Memoir, and I'm already hooked.

Good morning! Time to get up and head to yet another meal at Jean-Georges: Breakfast (or Brunch... that sounds fancier). I had a delicious sunny-side-up egg skillet dish with cheese, bacon and corn. SO good. Best breakfast I have ever had. We then headed to Henri Bendel for a NYFW Celebration event with hors d'oeuvres, music and mimosas for those who desired to partake. I ended up walking out with a new ring (on sale YAY). Next we went to Ralph's Coffee above Ralph Lauren, and met a fellow blogger (@tinymisstyler on insta) check her out! Next it was to my favorite stop of the whole trip: The Tommy Pier. This was where the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show was held the night prior, and it was filled with food, games, the TommyxGigi collection, and wait for it - the Kardashians. We happened to stumble into Kourtney, her kids Mason and Penelope and North West. WHAT. This was incredible to witness, and you've got to watch out for us on that episode, because they were filming! After this very warm adventure, we went back to the room, changed, and headed towards the meatpacking district for a Charlotte Tilbury event! Here we saw Olivia Palermo, Johannes Huebl, Josephine Skriver, and Charlotte Tilbury herself. This was too cool to be at the same event as all of these people, and this is something I could get used to. After this, we had just enough time to head back and change to see the Broadway show, Waitress. I'd seen this before, but it's one of my favorites and I had to share it with my mom and Ceci.

A later start today, as any sunday usually goes. We woke up, got ready and headed to Soho for brunch at my favorite restaurant, and shopping! We called ahead at Sant Ambroeus and they said they were booked up, but luckily when we got there they made room for us. I got a delicious sandwich, the McAmbroeus, and was satisfied for HOURS. We then hit the streets to shop (more window shopping than actual shopping unfortunately): Prada, Topshop, UniQlo, Aritzia, and many more! We also had to try the pizza at Lombardi's, which is coined the best pizza in NYC. It was pretty dang good. This was our last day, and needless to say we were tired. Despite this, we went to the meatpacking district for a Maybelline party at Milk Studios for some free goodies, photo ops, and some street style observations. Dinner was at Bareburger, which is never a bad call, and then it was back to the hotel. We packed, relaxed, and got ready for another 4am wake up call. Until next time, NYC. Until next time.

outfit of the day: a blush jamie and the jones dress, a black bandana from literally anywhere, gucci sandals and a gucci crossbody bag (that I never wear across my body because I'm rebellious).
